Food Long Life Japan 2020 วันที่ 16 - 18 พฤศจิกายน 2563 ณ Tokyo "Big Sight" Exhibition Center, West Halls 1, 2 and Atrium
Japan enacted a law for the reduction of food wastage. Although there is no need to mention that manufacturing and sales helps together to take measures for food loss,
for the manufacturers, two countermeasures are necessary: "Reduce" and "Reuse". Concerning "Reuse", the Food Recycling Law was enacted in the 2000s and amended in 2015
to increase the recycling targets according to industry type.
On the other hand, to "Reduce" or to implement food waste reduction is the most priority of the industry, and manufacturers are forced to carry out this countermeasure now. To minimise food wastage, it is important to promote long shelf life technology, prolonging and keeping the taste and quality of food. Food Long Life Japan gathers a variety of long-shelf-life technologies for food loss reduction, and will target to introduce these technologies to manufacturers and sales people. Furthermore, such technologies will be exhibited, together with Health ingredients (Hi) Japan, Food ingredients for Taste (FiT) Japan and Safety and Technology (S-tec) Japan, bringing together stakeholders in food manufacturing into one place.
