Even though, art may not directly address social and community issues by itself, but art can stimulate awareness to people and get involved in any context of society. Collaboration between artists, communities, art institutions, educational institutes, various organizations and the general public could be called as the art of being united in pursuit of the same goal.
In this symposium, we have invited artists who have experiences in using art to engage with specific society. Together with the consultant of both Thailand and international NGOs. And last but not least, the artists from Open Source Art Performance (OSAP) to share their experiences in various dimensions. In addition, to ensure that all of our audiences would be fully understand the content of the discussion, we have the interpreters who will translate the contents of the discussion for you to listen in real-time.
