Kunawong House Museum

The Kunawong House Museum is open for visits every Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Visitors can explore various areas both outside and inside the building, divided into 3 zones: the Garden of Life, the Residence, and the Cubic Building, which are further divided into 19 sub-zones. Each zone has its character and story hidden including the Buddhist Sanctuary, the Living Room of Era’s Dialogues, the Thai Heritage Tea Room, the Red Reading Room, the Dawn Dining Room, the Portrait Staircase, the Chakkraband Room, the Meditation Room, the Hallway of Buddhist’s Art, the จAbstract Art Penthouse, The Secret Spiral Staircase, the Khien Yimsiri Garden, the Parlour, the Garuda Room, the Study Room, the Kacha Lounge, the Sermkhun’s Studio, the Gallery, and the Grand Staircase Hall, all reflecting the perspectives and eras of various artists, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the aesthetic experience, surrounded by the engaging stories and views of one man's vision.

 

Kunawong House Museum fee: 450 THB. Ticket holders can redeem a voucher worth 120 THB at the Cafe located on the 5th floor of the Cubic Building in the gallery area.

 

Exclusive guided tours of the Kunawong Residence

This tour covers the entire program, including The Residence, which consists of 10 exhibition zones, the Cubic Building with 7 exhibition zones, the Buddhist Sanctuary, and the Garden of Life. The package includes a Tea Time service in the Dawn Dining Room inside The Residence and is guided throughout the 2-hour program.

Admission fee: Special for the first month of opening, tickets purchased in advance by May 31, 2024, are priced at only 999 THB, reduced from the regular price of 1,200 THB. You can choose the date and session for your visit until December 31, 2024.

The Kunawong Residence Tour is available only on Saturdays, with 3 sessions per day, limited to 10 people.

Rules for visiting the Kunawong House Museum:

  1. Do not touch or move any artworks displayed in the museum.
  2. Photography is allowed without the use of flash or tripods.
  3. Smoking is prohibited both inside and outside the building, except in designated areas.
  4. Commercial photography of any kind is not allowed.
  5. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the museum.
  6. Visitors must be aged 13 and above.
  7. No loud noises during the visit.
  8. Bags larger than A4 size (21.0 x 29.7 cm) must be stored in lockers available at Level B by yourselves.

Additional rules for The Kunawong Residence Tour:

  1. Tours start on time as per the scheduled reservation.
  2. Visitors must wear socks provided during the tour of the residential area.
  3. Please store your bags in lockers provided at Level B on your own; only small bags and mobile phones are allowed.
  4. All visitors must present an ID card, driver’s license, or passport before entering.

บ้านพิพิธภัณฑ์ คุณาวงศ์ ก่อตั้งขึ้นเพื่อส่งผ่านแรงบันดาลใจในงานศิลปะหลากหลายแขนง ไม่ว่าจะเป็น หุ่นประเภทต่าง ๆ เครื่องสวมศีรษะ เครื่องถ้วยชามเบญจรงค์ งานฝีมือแบบไทย โบราณวัตถุ จิตรกรรมจากไทยประเพณีสู่งานสมัยใหม่ งานประติมากรรมไทย เฟอร์นิเจอร์สมัยต่าง ๆ ทั้งไทยและยุโรป โดยครอบคลุมผลงานหลากหลายเทคนิค ผ่านประวัติศาสตร์ต่างช่วงเวลา ซึ่งล้วนแล้วแต่ทรงคุณค่าและผ่านการคัดสรรโดยมีผลงานศิลปะจัดแสดงรวมกว่า 1,000 ชิ้น บนพื้นที่  5,000 ตารางเมตร จัดแสดงทั้งด้านนอกอาคารและในอาคาร
