The gap between the transition into Anthropocene, broad arguments on the transition in geology and human footprints are major evident of the period from Industrial revolution until Globalization, which marked our footprints and carved the history into the layer of rock. Reflecting the image of rapid climate change in the past 200 years.

Comparing to the geological time scale, human presence was just a microscopic life form but the result of human actions make great impacts which greatly changed the layer of the rock and built the landscape which can be traced back to the minerals and resources human leftover, together with the process of time, lead to the arguments that pointed out how much human actions had played the crucial role on accelerating changes and influenced the landscape.

This “Land Form: ภูมิลักษณ์” exhibition presenting the story of landscape through art lenses. Connecting landscape and art together with form and line to reflect the procedure of landscape reformation through times, using both the process of art and of geology which human is another brick in the wall leads to those changes in landscape. These 3 artists portray the landscape from their point of view, connecting the layer of rock in micro level to the repeating lines connected with each other, to create the paradox area and space between times and movements, and also exploring the abandoned landscape which showing human footprints who once live there altogether.

Knowledge from “Land Form: ภูมิลักษณ์” exhibition demonstrates changes in geology to reveals the image of changes invisible to our eyes, to trigger humans to be more conscious about the planet we lived in with the changing landscape in contemporary art, perspectives, predictions, and the notion of the period we take part in which contributing to those change.
