'HOOPTAM – MINIMAL' is the latest solo exhibition by Tanupon En-on. HOOPTAM, the mural painting from the Northeast Thailand, is the important influence for the artist’s paintings. He brings the identity of HOOPTAM to develop, change and apply though his creation since 2004 to present.

 

 

The artist has been bringing up the HOOPTAM for experiment in his artworks. Each piece gives the improvement and new experience for the adjustment of his work, so he understands deeply about the core of the HOOPTAM. The primary of the Northeast of Thai mural painting is told by the artist’s feeling and expression. This series of painting is a reflection of the artist’s perspective inspired by the HOOPTAM in a period of time.
