Event Information

During the quarantine, we’ve longed for social activities,
freedom to travel, and our lives to return to how it was before.

This exhibition picks up on the state of a world affected in various ways by COVID-19, and explores the freedom that we are regaining from the restrictions imposed to us as a result of the pandemic.

‍We curated three abstract artists with distinct styles for this exhibition. While the ideas and contents of their works are independently developed, they work perfectly with the theme of this exhibition to portray multiple aspects of the 'Disentanglement' that we are living though.

MAHA (Kreangkrai Sangtong)

Abstract Expressionist

'Molded from experience, talent with driving power. This movement is not a matter of ''power'' in physics, but an unstable identity that moves dynamically.' - MAHA

His Auto-Dynamics Series centres around letting the unconscious mind take over the actions. It is also based on the concept of dynamics (movement), rhythm, and change.

Supmanee Chaisansuk

Semi-Abstract Artist

'I always favour to zoom in on patterns of wildlife such as trees, herbs, fungus, stone, flowers, small creatures, etc. I feel a peaceful mind and impressed when I look at the gorgeous life, so they are my source of artistic inspiration.' - Supmanee Chaisansuk

As a result of growing up in a nature-filled area in the centre of Bangkok metropolis, she had always been mesmerised by the beauty of naturally-occurring patterns of fauna and flora. Her water media technique uses free flow colour and movement to express the charms of nature.

Stone Leela (Napat Leelahapong)

Semi-Abstract Expressionist

'These drawings symbolise the seam of time, emotion, and sentiment.' - Stone Leela

Through the act of trying to understanding himself while transitioning from a children book illustrator into a contemporary artist, Stone Leela documents his emotions everyday onto a character and uses abstraction to portray the feelings and impressions that he had felt, creating a complete picture of complex emotions and experience over the course of 365 days, 365 small pieces, and 15 large pieces of artwork.

Introducing three craft cocktails that are inspired by the artists. These cocktails are created to embody the artistic virtuosity from the artworks. Try and you'll see how much complexity of the artworks are reflected in these cocktails!

Inspired by Supmanee - Tingling floral cocktail with a secret ingredient.

Inspired by Stone Leela - Jubilant and extremely playful cocktail that is sure to make you smile.
