จากความร่วมมือของ ศูนย์สร้างสรรค์งานออกแบบ (TCDC) ทีมงานจาก DESISLAB ELISAVA และสถาบันสอนการออกแบบและวิศวกรรมแห่งบาร์เซโลนา ขอเชิญผู้ที่สนใจเข้าร่วมฟังการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับการออกแบบผังเมืองบาร์เซโลนา และนวัตกรรมดิจิทัลเพื่อสังคม ในหัวข้อ “บทบาทสำคัญของการออกแบบผังเมือง ในการสร้างความสำเร็จและคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี ท่ามกลางความเปลี่ยนแปลงทางด้านเทคโนโลยีและสิ่งแวดล้อม”
วิทยากรจากประเทศสเปน Arianna Mazzeo และ Viviana Narotzky จะมาเปิดเผยเบื้องหลังการวางผังเมืองบาร์เซโลนาที่แปลกใหม่ เรียกว่า "Superblocks" ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการใช้ประโยชน์จากพื้นที่สาธารณะของเมือง ซึ่งจะส่งผลถึงความสัมพันธ์ของคนในเมืองกับสังคม และนอกจากนี้ยังนำผลงานวิจัยต่างๆเกี่ยวกับการออกแบบชุมชนที่จะสร้างแรงบันดาลใจในการออกแบบผังเมืองอีกด้วย
ELISAVA สถาบันสอนการออกแบบและวิศวกรรมแห่งบาร์เซโลนา คือ หน่วยงานระดับแนวหน้าในการสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมที่ผสานกับเทคโนโลยีทันสมัยในการทำให้ผู้คนมีส่วมร่วมในการพัฒนาเมือง ซึ่งอาจเป็นบทเรียนสำคัญที่คนไทยจะได้เรียนรู้ถึงจุดเริ่มต้นในการพัฒนาเมืองในการบรรยายครั้งนี้
กรุงเทพฯ เป็นมหานครที่มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ทั้งด้านความหลากหลายของวัฒนธรรมและสิ่งแวดล้อม เหมาะต่อการทดลองหาแนวทางใหม่ๆ เพื่อตอบสนองความท้าทายในการพัฒนาเมืองและพัฒนาย่าน จึงทำให้เกิดองค์กรที่สนับสนุนการพัฒนาเมืองมากมาย อาทิ มูลนิธิเพื่อการพัฒนาเมืองสร้างสรรค์ (Creative District Foundation) เพื่อเชื่อมโยงผู้ริเริ่มโครงการเข้ากับสถาบันและชุมชนพื้นเมืองต่างๆ นอกจากนี้ในแวดวงการศึกษา โครงการการออกแบบ ธุรกิจ และการบริหารเทคโนโลยี (Design, Business & Technology Management: DBTM) และคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์และการผังเมือง มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ (Thammasat Design School: TDS) ได้มีการเข้าถึงเยาวชนและจัดกิจกรรมต่างๆ เพื่อรณรงค์วัฒนธรรมด้านความคิดสร้างสรรค์ การออกแบบ และนวัตกรรม

You are cordially invited to a public talk around the role of design and design for city as crucial drivers for the livability and success of cities in a time of great environmental and technological change.
International keynote speakers Arianna Mazzeo and Viviana Narotzky will kick-start the conversation by demystifying the highly discussed “Barcelona Model” and the innovative yet contested idea of the Superblocks, which aims to re-think the use of public spaces in Barcelona as places of social interactions. The conversation will also explore community and place through design research and reflect on how cities can be designed from the ground-up.
What can we learn from Barcelona on how to engage citizens in the city-making process? What is the role of digital technology? By establishing an innovative partnership model with the City of Barcelona, ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering has been at the forefront of such crucial conversations, projects, and activities.
Bangkok is a fertile environment to experiment novel approaches to these challenges. Like-minded people have recently come together and founded many groups in civil society, such as the Creative District Foundation, a platform to connect project initiators, institutions, and local communities. On the other hand in academia, Design, Business & Technology Management (DBTM), an innovative program in design management at Thammasat Design School (TDS), has been actively involved in youth engagement and other activities to promote a culture of creativity, design and innovation. What else can be done? How do we foster the creativity of ordinary people?
