AGING WELL: The New Frontiers of Service Design is the kick-off event for the Creative Happening Thailand Symposium, a seminar focused on the issues of an aging society and the impact and preparation for various parameters of such which can be achieved through the use of creative and effective services.
The three international speakers participating in the event each bring with them experiences and knowledge related to various aspects of aging societies. Dr. Daniela Glocker will cover areas of public policy and city development while Stephen Pimbley, an architect and the founder of SPARK Architects will share and discuss the concept of the project Homefarm, a residential complex for the elderly in Singapore which was recently awarded at the World Architecture Festival. Our final speaker is Mr. Chalermpon Punnotok from CT Asia Robotics, the Thai company who invented the Dinsow Mini Robot, an innovative design specialized in providing care for the elderly.
AGING WELL : The New Frontiers of Service Design คืองานสัมมนา kick off โครงการ Creative Happening Thailand ซึ่งยกหัวข้อ สังคมผู้สูงอายุมาเป็นประเด็นศึกษาผลกระทบและการเตรียมความพร้อมรับปัญหาในมิติต่างๆ โดยใช้งาน creative service เข้ามาช่วยทำให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพ
วิทยากรระดับนานาชาติ 3 ท่านที่ได้รับเชิญมาในงานนี้ล้วนมีประสบการณ์และองค์ความรู้ที่เกียวกับสังคมผู้สูงอายุในแง่มุมที่หลากหลาย เริ่มจาก Dr. Daniela Glocker ที่จะมาพูดในสเกลของการกำหนดนโยบายสาธารณะด้านการพัฒนาเมือง ตามด้วย Stephen Pimbley สถาปนิกผู้ก่อตั้ง SPARK Architects ที่จะมาพูดถึงเรื่องราวของแนวคิดของโปรเจ็คต์ Home Farm อาคารพักอาศัยสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในสิงคโปร์ ซึ่งได้รับรางวัลยอดเยี่ยมจาก World Architecture Festival ปิดท้ายด้วยคุณเฉลิมพล ปุณโณทก จากซีที เอเซีย โรโบติกส์ บริษัทของคนไทยที่คิดค้นนวัตกรรมหุ่นยนต์ดินสอ มินิ สำหรับดูแลผู้สูงอายุโดยเฉพาะ

1. DR. DANIELA GLOCKER
Urban Policy Unit, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
Dr. Daniela Glocker works as an economist and policy analyst in the Regional Development Policy Division of the OECD’s Public Governance and Territorial Development Directorate. In her current position, Dr. Glocker
works on regional development with a particular focus on urban areas. Her work aims at assessing the impact of location-specific and man-made fundamentals, such as governance arrangements, of urban agglomerations on their economic, social and demographic development. In her research, she focuses on how to make cities more liveable, productive and inclusive. Most recently, she worked on the OECD’s National Housing and Urban Policy of Mexico and a Metropolitan Review of the metropolitan area Rottedam-The Hague.
Prior to joining the OECD in 2015, Dr. Glocker held researcher positions at the London School of Economics'
Centre for Economic Performance and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) in Berlin.
She graduated with a doctorate in Economics from the Free University Berlin and visited the United Nations’ Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the Urban Institute in Washington, DC during her studies.
In addition to her policy focused work, Dr. Glocker has published her academic work in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Daniela Glockerเป็นนักเศรษฐศาสตร์และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการวางแผนและวิเคราะห์กลยุทธ์ในการพัฒนาเมืองและภูมิภาค ขององค์การเพื่อความร่วมมือและการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศ ( Office for Economic Co-operation and Development - OECD) ซึ่งมีสำนักงานที่ตั้งในปารีส ประเทศฝรั่งเศสโดยมีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบมุ่งเน้นไปที่การวางแผนและพัฒนาเมืองให้น่าอยู่ และมีประสิทธิภาพ ที่ตอบสนองกับความต้องการด้านต่างๆ งานล่าสุดของ Dr. Glocker คือการศึกษาและวางแผนด้านที่อยู่อาศัยให้กับเมืองในเม็กซิโก และเนเธอร์แลนด์

2. STEPHEN PIMBLEY
Director, SPARK
Stephen Pimbley is a Founding Director of SPARK; he graduated from the Royal College of Art London in 1984 where he was a Gulbenkian scholar. Stephen started his professional career at the London offices of Richard Rogers and Partners subsequently joining Troughton McAslan before he became project Director of Alsop’s award-winning Hôtel du Département des Bouches du Rhône in Marseille. In 2000 Stephen led the rejuvenation of Clarke Quay in Singapore for CapitaLand, a project that has won many awards and achieved much public acclaim; it was also the springboard for his move from Europe to Asia and the eventual Founding of SPARK.
Stephen’s notable projects in addition to Clarke Quay include Raffles City Beijing, Rihan Heights in Abu Dhabi, Raffles City in Ningbo, Starhill Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Paragon City in Central Java, Fai-Fah in Bangkok, Bukit Gambir in Penang and the Shekou Financial Centre Shenzhen.
Stephen has lectured extensively in Asia has been an invited speaker at many events including Datum 2009
in KL and the Holcim Foundation’s prestigious sustainability conference in Jakarta. Stephen has also taught at universities in the UK, Germany, France, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

3. CHALERMPON PUNNOTOK
Chief Executive Officer, CT Asia Robotics
Chalermpon graduated from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, prior
to continuing his academic endeavors and obtaining his MBA from the University of Southern California.
He then began his career at Unilever, Thailand as well as the GE Capital Headquarters in Chicago.
In 2007, he established CT Asia, a leading provider of call center software and developer of innovative customer service platforms in Thailand. Chalermpon further founded the Thailand Software Export Promotion (TSEP) platform within the same year. Two years later, Chalermpon set out to establish the service robot industry of Thailand, founding CT Asia Robotics in 2009 and developing the first service robot of Thailand, as well as the ASEAN region, under the given name of ‘Dinsow Robot.’ The Dinsow Robot’s first functions were serving as a waiter in MK Suki Restaurants and eateries in Sweden, prior to expanding towards other service-related tasks such as the ‘Dinsow Elderly Care Robot’ successfully exported to Japan in 2016.
Chalermpon has continued to fulfill his role as the key man driving the robotic industry in Thailand due to his contributions and thorough establishment of policies, a success which has been recognized by both those in the industry and governmental agencies. Chalermpon has further been the recipient of several awards including the ‘Chao Fah IT’ award selected by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn and the ‘SME CEO of the Year’ award granted by the Bloomberg Businessweek Thailand Awards in 2012.
เฉลิมพล ปุณโณทก จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีจากคณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชีจากจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และไปต่อระดับปริญญาโททางด้านบริหารจัดการ (MBA) จาก University of Southern Californiaเขาเริ่มทำงานครั้งแรกที่ Unilever ประเทศไทย และภายหลังจากจบ MBA เขาได้ทำงานที่สำนักงานใหญ่ของ GE Capital ในชิคาโก
เขาเป็นผู้ก่อตั้ง ซีที เอเชียซึ่งเป็นผู้นำในด้านซอฟแวร์ด้านคอลเซ็นเตอร์และนวัตกรรมในด้านการให้บริการลูกค้า ยิ่งกว่านั้นเขายังเป็นผู้ก่อตั้งสมาคมส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมซอฟแวร์ไทย Thailand Software Export Promotion (TSEP) ในปี 2007 ในปี 2009 เฉลิมพลได้ก่อตั้ง ซีที เอเชีย โรโบติกส์ซึ่งพัฒนาหุ่นยนต์บริการของไทยและภูมิภาคอาเซียนเป็นตัวแรกชื่อ “หุ่นยนต์ดินสอ” หุ่นยนต์ดินสอ เริ่มทำงานเป็นบริกรที่ภัตตาคารเอ็มเคและต่อมาก็เริ่มให้บริการในภัตตาคารในสวีเดน คุณเฉลิมพลยังได้พัฒนาหุ่นยนต์ดินสอเพื่อดูแลผู้สูงวัยจนประสบความสำเร็จและส่งออกไปยังญี่ปุ่นในปี 2016 เฉลิมพลมีบทบาทสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนนโยบายอุตสาหกรรมหุ่นยนต์ของรัฐบาลอย่างต่อเนื่อง ความสำเร็จของเขาได้รับการกล่าวถึงอย่างชื่นชมโดย ฯพณฯ พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา ในการรายงานการทำงานของรัฐบาลประจำสัปดาห์ที่ถ่ายทอดไปทั่วประเทศ เมื่อวันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2016
คุณเฉลิมพล ได้รับรางวัลสำคัญต่างๆ มากมาย เช่น รางวัล “เจ้าฟ้า IT” ในสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ซึ่งเป็นรางวัลมูลค่า 1 ล้านบาท ในปี 2007 และรางวัล “SME CEO แห่งปี” ของ Bloomberg Businessweek Thailand Awards 2012 (Bloombergเป็นสำนักข่าวทางด้านธุรกิจที่ออกอากาศไปทั่วโลก)
4. NARONG OTHAVORN
Founder, SO (Situation-based Operation)
Having received his bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Silpakorn University, Bangkok, in 2000, Narong began working as a junior architect in Delft, the Netherlands for one year prior to obtaining his master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Culture : Metropolis from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain, in 2007. Narong founded SO (Situation-based Operation) an architecture and design studio one year after, and has served as the Design Director until present. He is currently the Editor of art4d.
ณรงค์ โอถาวร จบการศึกษาจากคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ในปี 2000 หลังจากนั้นได้ได้ทำงานเป็นสถาปนิกที่เมือง Delf ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ ก่อนที่จะไปศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาโทสาขา Architecture and Urban Culture : Metropolis จาก Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya เมืองบาร์เซโลนา ประเทศสเปน ในปี 2007 เขาได้ก่อตั้งสตูดิโอชื่อ ‘SO’ (Situation-based Operation) โดยดำรงตำแหน่ง Design Director นอกจากนี้ ณรงค์ยังเป็นบรรณาธิการคนปัจจุบันของนิตยสาร art4d
