#bacc นำเสนอ Early Years Project ครั้งที่ 5 โครงการบ่มเพาะและสร้างเครือข่ายศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ ที่ริเริ่มโดยฝ่ายนิทรรศการ หอศิลปกรุงเทพฯ ในปีนี้มีความแตกต่างจากครั้งก่อนหน้า โดยศิลปินจะต้องพิจารณาการสร้างสรรค์งานภายใต้บริบทของสุนทรียศาสตร์ เวลา และสิ่งแวดล้อมในวันพรุ่งนี้ ผลงานสร้างสรรค์ของ 8 ศิลปิน จะถูกคัดสรรโดยกรรมการ คุณไมเคิล เชาวนาศัย, ผศ.ดร. ประพล คำจิ่ม, ผศ.ดร. ศุภชัย อารีรุ่งเรือง, คุณสนิทัศน์ ประดิษฐ์ทัศนีย์, คุณสุรีรัตน์ ลีสวัสดิ์ตระกูล และคุณสืบแสง แสงวชิระภิบาล เพื่อคัดเลือก 2 ผลงานที่มีความเหมาะสม ได้รับทุนสนับสนุนการเดินทางของศิลปิน (Mobility Funding) และทุนในการเป็นศิลปินพำนัก (Residency Funding)

Bangkok Art and Culture Centre proudly presents Early Years Project #5. An initiative conceived by BACC Exhibition Department to foster a network of up-and-coming artists, this year’s edition of the project will stand out with a requirement for artists to create works that take into account aesthetic, temporal, and environmental factors in the context of the future of our planet. The eight participating artists will see their creations reviewed by a panel of expert judges, including Michael Shaowanasai, Asst. Prof. Dr. Prapon Kumjim, Sanitas Pradittasnee, Sureerat Leeswadtrakul, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supachai Areerungruang, and Suebsang Sangwachirapiban. In addition, the project offers participants valuable opportunities to discover useful knowledge and skills for their future careers through interactions with professional artists along with art scholars, historians, critics, and experts from various branches – ultimately allowing them to further build upon their experiences, creative tendencies, and conceptual thinking as they equip themselves for a career in the domestic and international art scene.
The exhibition period is from 5th March -7th June 2020.
