ウィーブ (Wee-Vu)
Costume Making Workshop

ตั้งแต่ 14.00 น. ถึง 18.00 น. วันที่ 19 มีนาคม 2560 ณ ทองหล่อ อาร์ตสเปซ

ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม
*กิจกรรมนี้จะพูดเป็นภาษาญี่ปุ่นและไทย พร้อมคำแปลภาษาไทย
*เปิดรับสมัคร 20 ท่านเท่านั้น

ด้วยชื่อของกิจกรรมที่เพี้ยนมาจากคำว่า “ Weave “ ในภาษาอังกฤษ เวิร์คช้อปการออกแบบและถักทอเสื้อผ้าสำหรับการแสดงนี้ นำโดยนักออกแบบและศิลปิน ชาวญี่ปุ่น โยโกะ ทาเคอูชิ ที่ออกแบบเสื้อผ้าสำหรับการแสดงของ Theatre Company shelf มาเป็นเวลานาน ร่วมกับ ณิชา บูรณะสัมฤทธิ์ นักแสดงสาว และนักออกแบบเสื้อผ้าสำหรับละครเวที ที่มีผลงานให้เห็นอย่างกว้างขวางมาอย่างยาวนาน

กิจกรรมความยาว สี่ชั่วโมงนี้ จะเชิญผู้เข้าร่วมทุกท่านให้เอาเสื้อผ้า หรือเศษผ้าใช้แล้วที่มีความทรงจำของแต่ละคน มาถักทอร่วมกับผ้าไทยจาก จิม ธอมสัน และผ้าญี่ปุ่นที่ศิลปินนำมา นำมาผสานเป็นผลงานศิลปะสวมใส่ได้ขนาดใหญ่ ที่เกิดจากการผสานกันของวัฒนธรรมไทยและญี่ปุ่น

นอกจากผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้เรียนรู้วิธีการตัดเย็บจากศิลปินโดยตรงแล้ว ยังมีโอกาสได้ออกแบบ และสร้างสรรค์เสื้อผ้าสำหรับการแสดงของตัวเอง เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการผลิตผลงานศิลปะขนาดใหญ่ และได้ผลงานของตัวเองติดไม้ติดมือกลับบ้านไปอีกด้วย

from 2pm – 6pm, 19th March 2017 at Thong Lor Art Space

*This activity is limited for the first 20 participants only

With title derived from the word English word “Weave”, the costume workshop is led by long-time designer of Japanese Theatre Company shelf, Yoko Takeuchi and Thailand’s Nicha "Pin" Puranasamriddhi, actress and costume designer whose works are seen commonly in Thai theatre plays in recent years.

The 4-hours event will invite limited number participants to bring their own used clothes with memories, sewing them together with large quantity of Thai fabric provided by Jim Thompson and Japanese fabric brought to Thailand by Yoko Takeuchi, combing them together forming a large wearable art which combines Thai and Japanese tradition at the end.

Apart from crafting techniques which will be learned exclusively from the artists, the participants will be given chances to design and re-create performance art costumes, be part of making a wearable art made together with other participants and come home with a piece of their own art.
