อันนี้ก็ความหมายอีกอย่างของเศรษฐกิจ หรือระบบพอเพียง...
พอเพียงนี้อาจจะมีมาก อาจจะมีของหรูหราก็ได้ แต่ว่าต้องไม่ไปเบียดเบียนคนอื่น.
ต้องให้พอประมาณตามอัตภาพ พูดจาก็พอเพียง ทำอะไรก็พอเพียง ปฏิบัติตนก็พอเพียง...”

หอศิลปมหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพและคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพ ในฐานะชุมชนนักสร้างสรรค์จัดแสดงนิทรรศการ "สืบสาน" ภายใต้โครงการสร้างสรรค์ สื่อสาร สืบสานหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง เพื่อน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอันหาที่สุดมิได้ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช มหิตลาธิเบศรรามาธิบดี จักรีนฤบดินทร สยามินทราธิราช บรมนาถบพิตร ผู้เป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจของคนไทยทั้งประเทศ

เรามีความคิดที่จะนำหลักปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงที่ถูกเผยแพร่โดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ (สศช.) 4 ข้อคือ
1. พอประมาณ
2. มีเหตุผล
3. สร้างภูมิคุ้มกันในตัวเอง
4. ใช้ความรู้และคุณธรรมในการดำรงชีวิต
ทั้งหมดจะถูกหลอมรวมเพื่อสื่อสาร หลักคิดเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง รณรงค์ให้คนไทยเห็นคุณค่าและนำมา "สืบสาน" ต่อไปอย่างยั่งยืน

ภายในนิทรรศการจะประกอบไปด้วยผลงานของนักเรียน นักศึกษา อาจารย์ นักออกแบบ และศิลปิน โดยจะมีพิธีเปิดขึ้นในวันศุกร์ที่ 24 มีนาคม 2560 เวลา 14.00 - 16.00 น. และจัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 17 มีนาคม - 5 เมษายน 2560 ณ หอศิลปมหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพ (BUG) วิทยาเขตกล้วยน้ำไท

Bangkok University Gallery together with the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, the creative community, initiate "Sueb San" exhibition under the project of Sufficiency Economy's Creativity, Communication and Application to commemorate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the center of Thai people's heart.

We would like to make understanding on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy implemented by the Office of the National Economics and Social Development Board through the use of the 4 keywords of the philosophy as a medium to promote its value and continuity (Sueb San).

1. Moderation
2. Reasonable
3. Risk Management
4. Knowledge and Virtue

We open opportunities for students, lecturers, designers, artists and general public to submit the typography or illustration inspired by one of those 4 keywords. After the committee approve, the selected works will be published and exhibited for public benefit without copyright in order to "Sueb San" the Sufficieny Economy Philosophy.

We would like to invite you to attend the Opening Reception on Friday, 24 March 2017 from 2 - 4 p.m. and the exhibition will be shown from 17 March - 5 April 2017 at Bangkok University Gallery (BUG), City campus.
