A First Solo Photography Exhibition

             จากติวเตอร์สอนวิชาฟิสิกส์ ศิรวิทย์ คุววัฒนานนท์ (ตีตี้) เริ่มเป็นที่รู้จักในฐานะช่างภาพผ่านรางวัลชนะเลิศการประกวด Young Street Photography Contest 2017 และเข้ารอบสุดท้ายของรายการระดับนานาชาติ เช่น Miami Street Photography Festival 2017, Italian Street Photography Festival 2018 และ Street Foto San Francisco 2018 (ภาพเดี่ยวและภาพชุด) อีกทั้งผลงานของเขาได้ร่วมแสดงในนิทรรศการทั้งไทยและต่างประเทศ 

             ครั้งนี้กับ “Chéri” (เชรี) นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกที่ศิรวิทย์ รวบรวมงาน ในช่วงปี 2017 – 2018 แสดงให้เห็นถึงเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวในการผสมผสานวิทยาศาสตร์ที่เขารัก ลงไปในศิลปะแห่งภาพถ่ายที่เขาหลงใหล เกิดเป็นการสะท้อนมุมมองต่อความรู้สึกของมนุษย์ การจัดแสดงในครั้งนี้ จึงเป็นการสำรวจความนึกคิดที่มาพร้อมกับบทสนทนาและคำถามกับตัวเอง เพื่อค้นหาคำตอบว่าด้วยเรื่องอารมณ์ ความรู้สึก และความสัมพันธ์ต่อสิ่งรอบตัว ทั้งต่อมนุษย์ สัตว์ สิ่งของ แสง สี กับนิยามความรักในหลากหลายรูปแบบ ภาพถ่ายในครั้งนี้จึงมีการหยิบเอาประสบการณ์ร่วมผ่านภาพชุด ‘Gravitation’ ในขณะที่ผลักให้ถอยออกมาพินิจพิเคราะห์กับ ‘Dimensional Analysis’ และนำเสนอนิยามเชรีผ่านมุมมองวิทยาศาสตร์ใน ‘Visible Light Spectrum’ แสงที่ดวงตาของมนุษย์นั้นสามารถมองเห็น ซึ่งอาจกล่าวได้ว่าเป็นบทสรุปของศิรวิทย์ในการสำรวจครั้งนี้

             Sirawit Kuwawattananont, a physics tutor has established his name from an amateur photographer to a winner of the Young Street Photography Contest 2017. His photos have been selected for the final round in many international street photo contests such as Miami Street Photography Festival 2017, Italian Street Photography Festival 2018 and Street Foto San Francisco 2018 (single and series). 

             Chéri is Sirawit’s first solo photography exhibition. Combining his passion in street photography and science, this work has allowed him to explore human’s feeling in various forms. In the deep curiosity toward the definition of love, Sirawit has brought us back the sense of the relationship between one another through the ‘Gravitation’ collection while providing the sense of distance with ‘Dimensional Analysis’. Nevertheless, it has allowed us to see this definition of love through science in ‘Visible Light Spectrum’ as representing his own statement.
