ขยะ สิ่งของเหลือใช้ และวัสดุราคาถูก ล้วนมีค่าดุจทอง! เหล่าดีไซเนอร์และนักออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ ต่างเล็งเห็นมูลค่าของมันอย่างถ่องแท้ สำหรับ ศจ. โฟลเคร์ อัลบุส (Prof. Volker Albus) ภัณฑารักษ์นิทรรศการ “Pure Gold – Upcycled! Upgraded! เปลี่ยนขยะเป็นทอง” ก็เช่นเดียวกัน

ร่วมรับฟังการบรรยายโดยภัณฑารักษ์ของนิทรรศการ Pure Gold – Upcycled! Upgraded! เปลี่ยนขยะเป็นทอง “ศจ. โฟลเคอร์ อัลบุส” ที่จะมาพูดคุยในหัวข้อ “ทำไมขยะจึงมีค่าดุจทอง” และจะมาเล่าถึงแง่มุมอันหลากหลายเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการรีไซเคิลขยะ และสร้างคุณค่าให้วัสดุเหลือใช้เป็นวัสดุใหม่หรือผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ ทั้งการพิจารณาวัสดุที่มีคุณสมบัติและคุณลักษณ์ของขยะในแง่มุมที่แตกต่างกัน ไปจนถึงคุณค่าด้านความงามและอารมณ์ความรู้สึกที่สื่อออกมา นอกจากนี้ยังจะหยิบยกประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับหัวข้อของนิทรรศการขึ้นมาพินิจพิเคราะห์และพูดคุยกันด้วย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นประเด็นงานช่าง งานฝีมือ แรงบันดาลใจ และความคิดสร้างสรรค์

ศจ. โฟลเคร์ อัลบุส ยังจะนำชมนิทรรศการ “Pure Gold – Upcycled! Upgraded! เปลี่ยนขยะเป็นทอง” ซึ่งแสดงผลงานสร้างสรรค์จำนวน 76 ชิ้นจากนักออกแบบ 53 คนในยุโรป ละตินอเมริกา แอฟริกาเหนือ ตะวันออกกลาง เอเชียตะวันออก แอฟริกาใต้ซาฮาร่า เอเชียใต้ และเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ซึ่งทุกชิ้นมีความสมบูรณ์แบบกันคนละด้าน แต่ทั้งหมดทั้งมวลล้วนมีความสุดยอดในการประดิษฐ์สร้างด้วยมือซึ่งพึ่งพาแค่เครื่องมือเครื่องไม้ง่ายๆ ก็สำเร็จได้ (นิทรรศการนี้จัดแสดงถึงวันที่ 22 กรกฎาคม 2561 ณ ห้องแกลอรี ชั้น 1 อาคารส่วนหลัง TCDC กรุงเทพฯ)

Talk & Tour for the exhibition “Pure Gold – Upcycled! Upgraded!”

Bulky trash, waste, cheap materials: pure gold! At least in the eyes of active designers. As well as in the eyes of Prof. Volker Albus, the curator of the exhibition “Pure Gold – Upcycled! Upgraded!”.

Let us gather for the talk by Prof. Volker Albus, the curator of the exhibition “Pure Gold – Upcycled! Upgraded!”. Prof. Albus is going to explore the reasons why trash is gold; recycling process, value creation for waste, along with different views on quality of trash and waste and their esthetics aspects. Craftsmanship and inspiration are one of the topics in this talk.

Following the talk, Prof. Albus is leading the tour for the exhition showcasing 76 exhibitis from a total of 53 designers in Europe, Latin America, North Africa and the Near East, East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Each exhibit is distinctive but perfect in its own context. (The exhibition is until 22 July 2018 at the Gallery, 1 floor, Back Building, TCDC Bangkok)
