SELFPRESSION
The Representation of 100 Photographers Identity
Our sense of self today is created through the past and out hopes for the future. We all grow up, learn and document shards of memories of each period of our lives amid ever-changing emotions. We all evolve and grow. If we were to select one photograph to represent ourselves, what photo would we choose?

The group photography exhibition “SELFPRESSION | The Representation of 100 Photographers Identity” collects definitions of the word “self” through the works of more than 100 photographers of various genres. In 100 photographs, the artists interpret the notion of self in different styles, including the self-portraits, photos of loved objects, places of memory and intimate glimpses into their lives.

For several years, the photographers experimented, honed their skills and grew with the changing tides of life that shaped their perspectives. Thus, this exhibition resembles a space for emotional self-exploration told through photographic works.
It might leave you wondering about yourself and raise the question of what our
“true self” really is.
