"Reskill for the Future ทักษะสร้างสรรค์ ก้าวทันโลกยุคใหม่"

เพราะในยุคที่โลกหมุนเร็วและข่าวสารความรู้เข้าถึงได้เพียงปลายคลิก ความหมายของการศึกษาที่เปลี่ยนไปจากเดิมจึงเป็นหนึ่งในความท้าทายที่ทั่วโลกต้องเผชิญ เมื่อทักษะจำเป็นในการเรียนรู้ ทำงาน และใช้ชีวิตสำหรับคนยุคนี้ไม่อาจเกิดขึ้นได้จากการเรียนแบบเดิม กระบวนการเรียนรู้ผ่านการบูรณาการข้ามสาขาวิชาอย่าง STEM การคิดวิเคราะห์เพื่อแก้ปัญหา (Problem-based Learning) และการคิดเชิงออกแบบ (Design Thinking) จึงได้รับการหยิบยกและนำมาปรับใช้จากองค์กรด้านการศึกษาทั่วโลก

TCDC ร่วมกับสถานทูตออสเตรเลียประจำประเทศไทย จึงได้จัดกิจกรรมสัมมนาภายใต้หัวข้อ “Reskill for the Future ทักษะสร้างสรรค์ ก้าวทันโลกยุคใหม่” โดย ดร.สจ๊วต โคลฮาเกน เจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสจากศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งออสเตรเลีย (Questacon) เพื่อนำเสนอสถานการณ์ด้านการศึกษาในปัจจุบัน ทักษะที่จำเป็นสำหรับยุคใหม่ รวมถึงวิธีปรับใช้กระบวนการเรียนรู้ในรูปแบบต่างๆ ทั้งในด้านการศึกษา และในมิติอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง

เวิร์กช็อปเพื่อทำความเข้าใจวิธีคิดเชิงออกแบบ (Design Thinking) และการเรียนรู้แบบ STEM ผ่านการลงมือปฏิบัติจริงในประเด็นที่ผู้เข้าร่วมมีความสนใจ เพื่อให้สามารถนำแนวคิดไปปรับใช้กับการถ่ายทอดและการวัดผล ทั้งยังเป็นประโยชน์สำหรับการริเริ่มโครงการต่างๆ รวมถึงในเชิงธุรกิจ

เกี่ยวกับวิทยากร

ดร.สจ๊วต โคลฮาเก้น (Dr.Stuart Kohlhagen) เป็นศาสตราจารย์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และคณิตศาสตร์ (ESTEM) มหาวิทยาลัยแคนเบอร์รา และเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และการเรียนรู้ ศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งออสเตรเลียหรือ “เควสตาคอน (Questacon)” ตลอดเวลามากกว่า 30 ปี เขาเป็นผู้มีส่วนสำคัญในการออกแบบและพัฒนาการนำเสนอความรู้ของเควสตาคอนในรูปแบบที่หลากหลาย น่าสนใจ  และเหมาะกับยุคสมัย

ดร.สจ๊วตเป็นชาวต่างชาติคนเดียวที่ได้รับรางวัล Iron Science Teacher จากพิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์ Exploratorium ของสหรัฐฯ ช่วงหลายปีที่ผ่านมา เขายังมีบทบาทในการพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านการศึกษาและการเรียนรู้ในหลายประเทศ อาทิ นิวซีแลนด์ เกาหลีใต้ มาเลเซีย อินโดนีเซีย และไทย และปัจจุบันเขายังดำรงยังตำแหน่งประธานเครือข่าย Australian Science and Technology Exhibitors Network (ASTEN) อีกด้วย

“Reskill for the Future”

As the development of technology changes the way we live our lives, today’s education faces enormous challenges. Many new approaches – STEM, Problem-based Learning and Design Thinking - are introduced as the solution for teaching and learning in the new era.

TCDC, in collaboration with the Embassy of Australia in Thailand, is holding the seminar “Reskill for the Future” by Dr.Stuart Kohlhagen, Senior fellow at Australia's National Science and Technology Centre (Questacon), to look at the educational challenges the world are facing, and to explore how individual and organisations can apply the approaches to solve the problem in education and other related fields.

About the speaker

Dr Stuart Kohlhagen PSM, is Senior fellow in Science and Learning at Australia's National Science and Technology Centre (Questacon), and Adjunct at the University of Canberra in the Faculty of Education, Science Technology and Maths (ESTEM). Working with Questacon for the past 33 years, he established many aspects of current centre’s activities as well as lead the design and development of interactive exhibits on a wide range of topics. He holds several creative fellowships, and visiting scholar positions in a number of Asian Educational Organisations. He is the only international recipient of the prized Iron Science Teacher award, from the Exploratorium - USA.
