Malai Tua Gra Tae (Flower garland in the shape of Treeshew) is a decorative item, often attached to a twig put into a plant pot or a vase. There’s no record of who first made such objects, but it has been mentioned in many historical literatures including work written by King Rama V. Malai Tua Gratae or ‘Malai’ in the shape of other animals, are often given to guests as souvenirs in important traditional ceremonies such as a wedding.
This workshop is taught by Kru Tee, a student of the renowned flower arrangement artist, Sakul Inthakul you will learn about the different components of the Malai Tue Gra Tae, how to use different tools and how to pick the right flowers.
