WHAT IS FUTURE SHORTS?
=======================
Future Shorts is an international cinematic community which holds the ability to change the ways each of us engage with cinema, generating a global conversation. Recognized as the first and largest global pop-up film festival, which represents the diverse nature of its audience.
Since 2011 the festival has spanned over 300 cities in 90 countries, reaching an audience of more than 45,000 people. Internationally acclaimed short films have been screened in countless ways, from London to Tokyo, Cairo to Kabul, in music halls and town halls, theatres and galleries, in clubs, bars and warehouses.
London-based Future Shorts HQ curate a seasonal feature-length programme of short films from around the world. Screening partners hold the license to screen these films. Partners are then responsible for bringing their screening to life in whatever direction their imagination leads them!
The international stories selected for Future Shorts Summer Season 2015 programme have been acknowledged by Sundance Film Festival, ECU European Independent Film Festival, Hamburg International Short Film Festival, Clermont - Ferrand International Short Film Festival and other renowned film organizations.
