Thor Kaichon Studio was founded in 2011 by a young Thai architect, Thanapat Boosanan. With a fondness for bamboo and architecture, Thanapat has dedicated himself to researching techniques for non-toxic preservation of bamboo with a special focus on insect and mold treatment protection. Thor Kaichon bamboo products are well known for their longer lifetimes and construction simplicity.
