The first Yamaguchi’s art exhibition in Bangkok where colors collide and boundaries subside

OUT OF BOUNDS, a series to represent Meguru Yamaguchi’s career as an artist is on view in Thailand for the first time at Maison JE, Bangkok in April.

The artist, based in New York since 2007, is renowned for the series that questions boundaries or limitations, and that explores possibilities of brushstrokes as a quintessence element of painting in the histories of arts.

The latest works from the series acknowledge artist's signature dynamically yet intricately made works are composed of classic yet constantly evolving expressions, diversely vibrant colours, and techniques that he names “cut and paste” and “sampling” inspired from hip-hop culture he has been familiar with from his youth.
