From fashion to luxury, the journey of Italian brands has started several decades ago, for becoming an internationally recognized phenomenon, bringing with itself a set of values that are associated not just with the “Made in Italy”, but the brands, too. The workshop will introduce participant to brand positioning strategy, key success factor, and how the current scenario is the result of a well-planned series of managerial activities supporting the creative processes. Finally, the lecture will introduce some of the most compelling contemporary challenges that Italian and international brands are facing: what’s the role of the “see now buy now” revolution? Is it a real revolution or a marketing strategy? How Millennials are changing relations with brands? What’s the meaning of “digital fashion”?
The lecture is addressed to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as to junior managers and designers, who are willing to discover more about the fashion and luxury industries, as well as about the Italian way to fashion. The workshop will be hold in English.
