Housed inside a former tobacco factory, the building itself tells a story. Fully reimagined and transformed while honoring its past, the museum preserves elements of its industrial character and enhances them with creative design. Featuring a shop and a café & restaurant, the setting invites curiosity from the moment you enter—a unique blend of heritage and innovation.
Inside, visitors embark om a cultural journey—an immersive experience that guides them through the city’s history and culture. Through storytelling, interactive design, and projection technology, the museum brings Lanna traditions to life while connecting them with the present. Each space combines tradition, art, and innovation---from temple-inspired art and ancestral heritage to textiles, crafts, photography, and immersive mirrored and projection rooms culminating in a contemporary art gallery.
Visitor Rules
1. Please do not touch or move any artwork or display items unless indicated as interactive.
2. Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the museum.
3. Kindly maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere.
4. Smoking is prohibited within the museum premises.
5. Running, climbing, or jumping is not permitted inside the building.
6. Children under 8 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
7. Photography and video recording are permitted without flash or tripods. Commercial photography requires prior permission.
8. The museum is not responsible for accidents or damage caused by negligence.
9. Visitors are responsible for any damage to museum property or artworks.
10. Tickets are valid only for the date and time selected at purchase.
11. Please present a valid ID, driver's license, or passport upon entry when purchasing ticket for Thai Adults, children or senior.
12. CCTV cameras operate throughout the premises to ensure visitor safety and asset protection in compliance with the PDPA B.E. 2562 (2019).
