แม้ว่าประเทศไทยจะมีสถาบันการศึกษาศิลปะ และมีการผลิตบุคลากรทางศิลปะออกมามากมาย แต่ทัศนคติที่มีต่อคนทั่วไปนั้น คำว่า “ศิลปิน” ก็ไม่ได้ทำให้หลายคนรู้สึกว่าจะเป็นอาชีพได้ โครงการ “ศิลป์อยู่เป็น” ขอเรียนเชิญเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเสวนา “Differing Experiences – เรื่องเล่าของศิลปิน” แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์กับศิลปิน - กวิตา วัฒนะชยังกูร จุฬญาณนนท์ ศิริผล และนิพันธ์ โอฬารนิเวศน์ เพื่อนำเสนอมุมมองของการ “อยู่” ในฐานะคนทำงานศิลปะ ร่วมพูดคุยประสบการณ์การทำงานที่หลากหลายจากศิลปินที่มีพื้นฐานการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะร่วมสมัยที่ต่างกัน รวมถึงลักษณะการทำงานในบริบทที่แตกต่าง ซึ่งล้วนมีประสบการณ์กับทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น การทำงานร่วมกับภัณฑารักษ์ ความแตกต่างระหว่างการทำงานกับองค์กรในไทยและต่างประเทศ การทำงานกับพื้นที่ศิลปะต่างๆ เช่น พิพิธภัณฑ์ หอศิลป์ แกลลอรี เทศกาลศิลปะนานาชาติ เทศกาลภาพยนตร์ เป็นต้น รวมถึงบุคคลากรในแวดวงศิลปะ เช่น นักเขียน นักประวัติศาสตร์ หรือการประสานงานกับหน่วยงานต่างๆ ทั้งรัฐและเอกชน

กวิตา วัฒนะชยังกูร
สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีด้านวิจิตรศิลป์จากมหาวิทยาลัย RMIT University เมืองเมลเบิร์น ประเทศออสเตรเลีย เธอให้ความสนใจการทำงานวิดีโอ ทั้งนี้ ผลงานของเธอได้แสดงทั้งในเอเชียและยุโรป อาทิ ASIATOPA Festival, State Theatre Stage: Arts Centre Melbourne, Melbourne, Australia (2017), You are not Alone, Oi! สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีจากคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง สาขาวิชาภาพยนตร์และวิดีโอ ผลงานของจุฬญาณนนท์มีทั้ง ภาพยนตร์สั้น ภาพยนตร์ทดลอง สารคดี และศิลปะการจัดวางวิดีโอ เขาได้เข้าร่วมจัดแสดงผลงานมากมายทั้งในไทยและต่างประเทศ อาทิ The 5th Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale, Fukuoka, Japan (2014), The 4th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, Moscow, Russia (2014), Sharjah Biennial 11, United Arab Emirates (2013), Can You Hear Me?, Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film, Singapore (2012), The 26th Hamburg International Short Film Festival, Germany (2010), The 34th International Film Festival Rotterdam, Netherlands (2005)

Even though Thailand has many education institutions that teach a variety of courses in the arts and produce a significant number of graduates each year. But many people still perceive a career as an artist as unachievable or unrealistic. “The Art of Surviving in the Arts” education programme would like you invite art professionals, aspiring artists and the general public to “Differeing Experiences - Artist’s Perspective on Working with Art Organisations in Thailand and Overseas”, a panel discussion with Kawita Vatanajyankur, Chulayarnnon Siriphol and Nipan Oranniwesna. Three artists with different backgrounds and experiences who will be sharing their perspectives of working as artists both in Thailand and overseas with different players in the art world, e.g. curators, gallerists and critics as well as their experiences of working with institutions, projects and festivals.

About the Speakers
Kawita Vatanajyankur
Since graduating with Distinction from BA Fine Arts at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, she has worked mainly with moving image and has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Thailand and internationally, including ASIATOPA Festival, State Theatre Stage: Arts Centre Melbourne, Melbourne, Australia (2017), You are not Alone, Oi! Art Space, Hong Kong (2016), 30th Anniversary of CCP Fundraiser, Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne, Australia (2016), Thailand Eye, Bangkok Arts and Culture Centre, Bangkok, Thailand (2016), Cornucopia, Shepparton Art Museum (SAM), Shepparton, Australia (2016), La Movida, Biblioteca Municipal de Barranco, Lima, Peru (2015), Thailand Eye, Saatchi Gallery, London, England (2014), Melbourne Art Fair 2014 (off-site), Chin Chin Wall of Art, Melbourne, Australia (2014) and P ROX IMITY: An art exhibition of distance and relativity (As part of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre's exhibition), National Museum, Szczecin, Poland (2014). Chulayarnnon Siriphol
Graduated with a BA in Film and Video from the Faculty of Architecture, King Mongkut’s Institute of Techology Ladkrabang. Chulayrnnon works in moving image spans different formats from short film, video art, documentary and video installation. His works have been widely shown in Thailand and overseas, including The 5th Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale, Fukuoka, Japan (2014), The 4th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, Moscow, Russia (2014), Sharjah Biennial 11, United Arab Emirates (2013), Can You Hear Me?, Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film, Singapore (2012), The 26th Hamburg International Short Film Festival, Germany (2010) and The 34th International Film Festival Rotterdam, Netherlands (2005)
Nipan Oranniwesna
After graduating from Silapakorn University, Nipan received a Monbusho scholarship from the Japanese government to pursuit his studies at Tokyo National University of Art & Music. His works have been widely exhibited in Thailand and abroad, including KEMPOKU ART 2016, Umezu Museum of local History, Hitachi Ota, Ibaraki, Japan.
