- Wanvisa Klawklean - is an artist based in Bangkok, Thailand, who is devoted to presenting an accurate and aesthetic interpretation of her culture through paintings and drawings. A native of Phuket, Thailand, she often travels to paint at various locations in many countries from her perspectives and impression in colorful and creative expressions. One of her paintings, "Just be me..," was featured in the May 2011 edition of News Art International Magazine in Rome, Italy, and 10,000 copies have been distributed in Rome's historic cultural district. Her works have also been printed many times in Uiwang International Placard Art Festival Magazine in Korea and Thai Fine Art Magazine of Thailand.
In addition, she has made a lot of contribution to the society through the teaching of painting and drawing to marginalized children in outlying provinces and villages and currently she is teaching painting and drawing children for the Amphawa Chaipattananurak Foundation under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakkri Sirindhorn.
Wanvisa has participated in various auctions for the benefits of some foundations, such as the Thai Red Cross Society in their annual efforts to raise funds for the needy, through the sale of paintings by local artists. Wanvisa Collection was also showcased at Art exhibition group more than 20 times.
Wanvisa states,"I am not concerned too much with the structured principles of art, I just paint freely. There are some who design their works by following set theories and rules, but I create my paintings based solely on what I'm feeling inside. My art is who I am."
