เส้น-สด

   การเดินทางของ “คน-วาด-เส้น-สด” ที่ใช้การสเก็ตช์ด้วยลายเส้นและสีน้ำสด ณ สถานที่จริง เพื่อบันทึกความทรงจำและประสบการณ์การเดินทาง การนั่งลงวาดรูปทำให้ได้ใช้เวลาช้าๆ สัมผัสบรรยากาศ ความรู้สึก กลิ่น เสียง ผู้คน การเคลื่อนไหว ให้ประทับอยู่ในใจ ถ่ายทอดลงในรูปวาดด้วยความสุข เก็บอยู่ในความทรงจำได้ยาวนาน กว่าเพียงถ่ายรูปแล้วเดินผ่านไป ทำให้ได้พบปะพูดคุยและเชิญชวนให้คนในพื้นที่ รวมไปถึงผู้ดู ได้ตระหนักถึงความงามที่ซ่อนอยู่ ไม่ว่าจะในย่านเมืองเก่า เมืองใหญ่ ทิวทัศน์ ผู้คน และอาหารท้องถิ่น

   นิทรรศการครั้งนี้ ได้รวบรวมผลงานหลายปีจากทั้งในกรุงเทพฯ และจังหวัดต่างๆ ไปจนถึงต่างประเทศ ทั้งชิ้นงานที่ใช้เวลาวาดกว่าสองชั่วโมง และงานที่เน้นการบันทึกความทรงจำฉับไว บนกระดาษและสมุดหลายชนิด เกิดการเดินทางภายในของสไตล์ ความคิด ที่ควบคู่ไปกับการเดินทางในชีวิตจริง พวกเรายังเฝ้ารอการออกเดินทางวาดรูปอีกครั้ง เมื่อสถานการณ์ดีขึ้น และหวังว่านิทรรศการนี้จะเป็นแรงบันดาลใจ ให้ใครสักคนออกเดินทาง และบันทึกโดยปราศจากความกลัวการวาดรูป แล้วลงมือด้วยความสุข เฉกเช่นเดียวกัน

LIFE-LINE

   On-location sketching is a tool to capture and record the surroundings where we visited; from Bangkok, other provinces in Thailand to other countries. Sketching brings us special moment and new experience of places and people. Sitting there for 30 minutes to more than 2 hours provides us chances to meet with local people and open up all senses kept in our sketches and our memories. We always travel and sketch with happiness mainly using watercolor and line and medium to tell our own unique stories from our different experiences even we went to the same places.

   We wish this locked-down situation will be over soon and the world will be back to normal that we can travel, sketch and share good moment together again. This exhibition also aim to encourage and inspire audiences to start sketching for their own happiness more than judgment of beauty.
