Online Lecture Performance: Apocalyptic Smile
JWD Art Space invites you to join the online lecture performance: 'Apocalyptic Smile' from the online series 'Artists in Conversation'.
"We are fully aware we live in one of the deadliest places on earth where a line of active volcanoes is located and 95% of big quakes happen. The collision of earth plates causes tsunamis, the collision of ideology such as war, colonization and feudalism causes fundamental problems not only in humanity but also in our lives on this planet.
In the conversation along the journey tracking the Ring of Fire, we often meet with the gesture of a specific smile, there is implied a very deep meaning on it, not only a manifestation of happiness but an expression of sorrow. A paradoxical body gesture."
August 14 @3pm (GMT +7)

In conversation and performance with: Renan Laru-an, Irwan Ahmett, Tita Salina
