Let’s get lost in the spiritual rhythms of YAAN, a world music band based in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from instrumental mainstays like the guitar, the bass, the violin and percussion, YAAN brings with them exotic devices from all over the world, such as the sitar from India and the didgeridoo from Australia, as well as Thai folk instrument rarely used in contemporary music, namely the ‘Pin’ (Thai lyre) and the Khean (Thai harmonica).

Their music was described as peaceful, mindful, introspective and, of course, fun! The members find great joy in performing live, which allows them to improvise as well as adjust the vibe and the rhythm to fit a particular space and time.
