DR LUM was first a pure studio project founded in 2013 by Frank O-B Rom (Ubon Ratchatami / Bkk) and Ben I Sabbah (Switzerland), experimenting with esarn Molam and contemporary electronic beats and grooves. Frank played the various traditional esarn instruments. Ben sampled, looped, deconstructed the material and mixed it up with elements of dub, dubstep, trance or whatever, to create esarn music in a new and unheard way.

In a next step, to bring this music on stage, they teamed up with different musicians from the actual bkk scene and debuted last year at studio lam. for this next gig, the line up will be (instant changes possible):

you may expect isan roots interpreted and performed in a free improvised, experimental way...
