BIOGRAPHY
Sunny Trio is a special collaboration between top jazz artists from Silpakorn University: Rattana ‘Sunny’ Wongsansern, one of the most virtuosic pianist and fine composer; Chanutr ‘Hong’ Techatana-nan, one of the most innovative and exciting jazz drummers to emerge in Thailand’s jazz scene; Siriwat ‘Tae’ Pliansanthia, arguably country’s most sought after and top jazz bassist, and Thailand’s most prolific and Tangmo Wankika ( The Voice Thailand season2 ).

Jazz pianist/composer maestro Sunny Rattana graduated classical piano performance with first class honor from Chulalongkorn University. Started from self-taught then had proper lesson with Nu Vudthivichai. He received awards from Thailand Jazz Competition 1st,2nd ,3rd – H.M. The King’s Trophy for the Jazz Band, Outstanding Musician Award and winner of the outstanding musician award at the Greeley Jazz Festival, USA.
