TALAS (Thai Association for Laboratory Animal Science)
The Thai Association for Laboratory Animal Science (TALAS) was established in 2001. The association is composed of individuals or institutions concerned with proper care and use of laboratory animals, including technicians, veterinarians, scientists, physicians, researchers, administrators, and many others interested in the care and use of animals in research, teaching, and testing. TALAS Committees were formed to organize the association activity such as provide continuing education in laboratory animal sciences by organizing scientific meetings and conferences and also promotion of other TALAS activities. There are currently about 350 TALAS members.
