การสร้างเครือค่ายนั้นถือเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่สำคัญในการทำงานด้านศิลปะ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นในท้องถิ่น ภูมิภาคหรือระดับโลก นอกจากการสร้างเครือค่ายในฐานะศิลปินเดี่ยวแล้ว ยังมีทางเลือกในการสร้างเครือค่ายทางศิลปะอื่นๆอีก อาทิ การรวมตัวทำงานเป็นกลุ่ม หรือการสร้างพื้นที่ศิลปะเพื่อให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ต่างๆ ในกิจกรรมนี้โครงการ “ศิลป์อยู่เป็น” ได้รับเกียรติจาก ผศ.เจะอับดุลเลาะ เจ๊ะสอเหาะ จาก Patani Artspace & Patani Contemporary Art Gallery จังหวัดปัตตานีและ คุณ Gintani Nur Apresia Swastika จาก Ace House Collective เมืองยอกยากาตาร์ ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย มาแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์และความรู้ในการสร้างเครือค่ายฯ การทำพื้นที่ศิลปะ การรวมตัวเป็นกลุ่ม รวมถึงมุมมองต่อการทำงานศิลปะในพื้นที่ที่พวกเขาทำงานอยู่และการเชื่อมต่อของท้องถิ่นกับภูมิภาค

ผศ.เจะอับดุลเลาะ เจ๊ะสอเหาะ
สำเร็จการศึกษาระปริญญาตรีในสาขาทัศนศิลป์จากมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี และระดับปริญญาโทในสาขาศิลปไทย จากมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร โดยผลงานของเขาได้รับรางวัลหลากหลาย อาทิ 1st International Historical Memory Art Festival (Art Hub) เมือง Abu Dhabi ประเทศสหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ (2014), รางวัลสนับสนุนของธนาคารกรุงไทยรางวัลที่ 1 จากการแสดงศิลปกรรมแห่งชาติครั้งที่ 57 (2011) และรางวัลที่ 1 เหรียญทองบัวหลวง จิตรกรรมร่วมสมัย ครั้งที่ 30 (2008) นอกจากนี้ยังได้เข้าร่วมนิทรรศการทั้งในและต่างประเทศ อาทิ นิทรรศการ “วาง ร่องรอย ชีวิต จิตศรัทธา ไว้ที่ ปาตานี” ที่หอศิลป์สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ กรุงเทพ (2015), นิทรรศการ “From the Life of Thai Muslims” เมือง Abu Dhabi ประเทศสหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ (2014) และนิทรรศการเดี่ยว “รูปลักษณ์ของชาวมาลายูท้องถิ่นปัตตานี” ที่หอศิลป์สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ กรุงเทพฯ (2012) ปัจจุบัน เขาเป็นอาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาทัศนศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี และเป็นเป็นผู้ก่อตั้ง Patani Artspace & Patani Contemporary Art Gallery

เป็นหอศิลป์สำหรับจัดแสดงนิทรรศการศิลปะและพื้นที่ในการจัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ทางด้านศิลปะ โดยมุ่งเน้นถึงการเปิดโอกาสให้ศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ในพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้และศิลปินทั่วไป ทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ ได้มีพื้นที่ในการแสดงออกและนำเสนอผลงาน ตลอดจนเปิดพื้นที่ให้ศิลปินมาพำนักสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ รวมถึงการจัดกิจกรรมให้ความรู้ทางด้านศิลปะแก่ผู้ที่สนใจ โดยต้องการสร้างโอกาสและเปิดพื้นที่ให้กับคนที่ยังขาดโอกาส โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มเยาวชนที่สนใจทางด้านศิลปะ ทั้งนี้หอศิลป์ฯ เน้นการจัดนิทรรศการและกิจกรรมต่างๆเพื่อให้เกิดความเคลื่อนไหวทางศิลปะเป็นประจำทุกๆเดือน

กินทานิ นัวร์ อาพรีเซีย สวาสทิกา
เป็นศิลปินและภัณฑารักษ์ ที่มุ่งเน้นความสนใจทำงานเกี่ยวกับประเด็นของเพศสภาพ อัตลักษณ์ และวัฒนธรรมวัยรุ่น เธอสำเร็จการศึกษาด้านศิลปะจาก Institute of the Arts เมือง Yogyakarta ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย ในปี 2010 และในปี 2011 ได้ร่วมก่อตั้ง Ace House Collective กลุ่มศิลปินรุ่นใหม่และพื้นที่ศิลปะในเมือง Yogyakarta ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย อีกทั้งยังเป็นผู้อำนวยการของ Kaleidoskop Project ซึ่งเป็นเทศกาลศิลปะสำหรับศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ มาตั้งแต่ปี 2015 โดยกินทานิมีประสบการณ์การเข้าร่วมโครงการศิลปะต่างๆทั้งในและต่างประเทศ อาทิ “4A Curators’ Intensive, Emerging Curator Forum” ที่ 4A Centre For Contemporary Asian Art เมือง Sydney ประเทศออสเตรเลีย (2014), เป็นศิลปินพำนัก ที่ Bamboo Curtain Studio เมือง Taipei ประเทศไต้หวัน (2013) และ “Gender Under Reflection on South East Asia Women Artist Forum” เมือง Yangon ประเทศเมียนมาร์ (2012) และเมื่อเร็วๆนี้เธอได้รับเลือกให้เข้าร่วม “7th Gwangju Biennale International Curator Course” ที่ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ (2016) สำหรับในบทบาทของศิลปิน ผลงานของเธอได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งใน “Indonesian Eye: Contemporary Indonesian Art” ตีพิมพ์โดย SKIRA (2011) และในการทำงานกับกลุ่ม Ace House เธอมีส่วนสำคัญในการค้นหาและสนับสนุนศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ของอินโดนีเซีย ปัจจุบัน กินทานิกำลังศึกษาในระดับปริญญาโทด้านศาสนาและวัฒนธรรมศึกษา ที่มหาวิทยาลัย Sanata Dharma เมือง Yogyakarta
Ace House
เป็นพื้นที่ศิลปะในเมือง Yogyakarta ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย ที่จัดการโดยกลุ่มศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ชื่อ Ace House Collective โดยเป็นพื้นที่การทดลองเชื่อมโยงระหว่างศิลปะและศาสตร์อื่นๆ รวมถึงเป็นเวทีในการสำรวจและวิเคราะห์ปรากฎการณ์ในสังคมร่วมสมัยผ่านศิลปะ Ace House Collective มีจุดประสงค์ที่จะตั้งคำถามถึงบทบาทและหน้าที่ของศิลปะร่วมสมัยในสังคม รวมถึงการจัดกิจกรรมต่างๆที่เลียนแบบโครงสร้างสถาบันในสังคมมาใช้เป็นกระบวนการในการแทนค่าโครงสร้างต่างๆที่ชาวอินโดนีเซียประสบพบเจอในชีวิตประจำวัน โดยโครงการเหล่านี้ เป็นการพยายามเข้าหาและดึงชุมชนต่างๆเข้ามา ผ่านการสร้างกิจกรรมที่ทำให้เกิดประสบการณ์ร่วมกัน ขณะเดียวกันก็เป็นการพูดถึงประสบการณ์ที่แตกต่างระหว่างชนชั้นอีกด้วย Ace House Collective เป็นองค์กรที่มีโครงสร้างการทำงานที่ไม่มีลำดับขั้นอาวุโสและใช้วิธีการระดมความคิดจากสมาชิกในการสร้างสรรค์โครงการต่างๆ นอกเหนือจากการจัดนิทรรศการแล้ว ยังมีกิจกรรมเสวนา การบรรยาย เวิร์คชอป และโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนศิลปิน นอกจากนี้ Ace House ยังเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ Kaleidoskop Project เทศกาลศิลปะสำหรับศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ที่อายุต่ำกว่า 35 ปี จัดขึ้นทุกๆสองปี ที่เมือง Yogyakarta

Having a network is an important part of working in the arts, whether locally, regionally or internationally. Apart from building a network as individuals, art practitioners can also build networks through forming collectives, community or creating art platforms for exchange. This session of “The Art of Surviving in the Arts” we welcome Jehabdulloh Jehsorhoh from Patani Artspace & Patani Contemporary Art Gallery and Gintani Nur Apresia Swastika from Ace House Collective, Yogyakarta, Indonesia who will be sharing their experiences and knowledge in building networks, community, art platforms as well as insights into their local art communities and how they connect with the wider region.
About the Speakers and their Organisations
Asst. Prof. Jehabdulloh Jehsorhoh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus and a Master’s Degree in Thai Art from Silpakorn University. He has received various awards for his artworks including 1st International Historical Memory Art Festival (Art Hub), Abu Dhabi, UAE (2014), 1st Prize, Krung Thai Award for the 57th National Art Exhibition (2011) and 1st Prize, 30th Bualuang Gold Medal for Contemporary Art (2008) Additionally, his works have been exhibited in Thailand and abroad, including “Placing a Trace of Life, Mind and Faith in Patani” Art Exhibition at The Queen’s Gallery, Bangkok (2015), “From the Life of Thai Muslims” Art Exhibition at Abu Dhabi, UAE (2014) and “The image of local Malay Pattani” a Solo Art Exhibition at The Queen’s Gallery, Bangkok (2012) He is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. He is also the founder of Patani Artspace & Patani Contemporary Art Gallery.
Patani Artspace & Patani Contemporary Art Gallery is an exhibition space as well as a space for exchange and learning in the field of art. Aiming to give opportunities for emerging artists in the South of Thailand as well as other artists working in Thailand and abroad to present their works. There is a residency space for artists to create works as well as a regular art education programme for the general public. The goal is provide support especially for young people in the region who are interested in art but lack opportunities and platform by organising various activities including exhibitions to engage various groups of people with art.

Gintani Swastika is an artist-curator, whose works are primarily focused on the areas of gender construction, identity and youth culture. She obtained her BFA from Indonesia Institute of the Arts, Yogyakarta on 2010. In 2011, she initiated Ace House Collective, a young artists’ collective and artist-run space based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. She is also the Director for Kaleidoskop Project, a young artist biennale program in Yogyakarta since 2015. Furthermore, she has participated in many art projects in Indonesia and internationally including, ”4A Curators’ Intensive, Emerging Curator Forum”, at 4A Centre For Contemporary Asian Art, Sydney, Australia (2014), Artist-in-Residence at Bamboo Curtain Studio, Taipei, Taiwan (2013) and “Gender Under Reflection on South East Asia Women Artist Forum”, Yangon, Myanmar (2012) and most recently she was selected to be part of the “7th Gwangju Biennale International Curator Course”, South Korea (2016). As an artist, her works were also featured on “Indonesian Eye: Contemporary Indonesian Art” (2011), published by SKIRA. With her collective, she has been instrumental in identifying and support promising young Indonesian artists. She is currently completing her Master in Religious and Cultural Studies at Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta focusing on Indonesian women artist.
Ace House is an artist-run space in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, by a group of young artists called Ace House Collective. It acts as a laboratory for experimentation between art and other disciplines, as well as a platform for exploring and disseminating contemporary cultural practices through art. Ace House Collective’s artistic vision aims to address the role and function of contemporary art in society today. This includes generating projects that utilise forms of imitation or fictional institution as a methodology to represent and interpret various everyday structures and institutions that are part of the everyday life of Indonesian people. Through these projects, Ace House attempt to engage with different communities by creating artwork as a form of ‘common’ activity which people can experience, and at the same time, negotiating the discussions around the concept of 'social class' experiences. Ace House as a collective, has a non-hierarchical structure, most projects are collaborative, which came out of collective brainstorming processes. Apart exhibitions, Ace House also organise, Research-Discussions, Workshops, and Residency Exchange Program. Since 2014, Ace House is part of the Kaleidoskop Project, a biennale for young artists under the age of 35 in Yogyakarta.
