DJ Ju-C is one of Malaysia's most prominent female DJs, self-taught DJ Ju-C's love for electronic music began in the 90s, and being a DJ was always at the back of her mind since her teenage years.

Today, she sets the tone at parties across Malaysia and Singapore with dark, emotive vibes, approaching each set with the goal of taking listeners on a journey. She enjoys bringing her own distinctly sexy, underground flavour to the dance floor, crafting her passion and energy into visceral, stimulating experiences.⁠⁠⁠⁠

Some DJs seem to be stuck in a groove where music is concerned, only changing styles when the next trend hits, this can't be said of J Alexander's sets, armed with 25 years DJ experience and a 10 year production career, expect something a little different from his vinyl only sets.

J Alexander has been a DJ since the mid n1990's playing in the UK as part of the DJ duo 'JamesandJames'. Under this guise the pair DJed for a together for a number of years finishing the decade in the top ten of the UK's best DJs according to MTV's Clubland UK show.

Berlin was J Alexander next port of call where he formed the label: Friends Electric Records in 2006. For the next 5 years he was deeply involved in the Berlin electronic music scene as both a DJ and producer, and this is reflected in the number of Berlin based artists that have appeared on his record label over the years. However J Alexander’s musical reach extends far beyond Europe and he has teamed up with some of the world’s most repected producers and DJs including: KENNY LARKIN, DAN CURTIN, VINCE WATSON and SASHA CARASSI. All these artists have remixed his work, indeed Detroit legend Kenny Larkin is quoted as saying, "My best remix to date," when describing his remix of J Alexander’s ‘Endless’ - This was maybe why ‘Endless’ reached the number one spot in the UK DMC (Dance Music Charts) in 2010.

He continues to produce, remix and write his own blend of Deep House, Techno, Tech-House and Disco and is currently working on his first studio album due for release in 2018. In the meantime we will have to be content listening to his back catalogue of work, with his tracks featuring on more than 30 compilation albums worldwide.

A side from his work as a producer, remixer and writer the best way to truly experience the unquie ‘J Alexander’ sound is to listen to him DJ. Armed with a personal vinyl collection that pushes over 5000 records he will often play a 'vinyl only' set which contains 'lost' classics from the 70's and 80's as well as new productions and re-edits. Indeed he will say that he spends more time rooting out ‘hidden gems’ than all his other musical activites combind – maybe that’s what’s stopping him finishing the last track on the album! On the plus side however, it makes for one hell of a DJ set!
