El Barrio was born from the encounter of Bangkok based German DJ moreno and Saigon's very own, Swiss-born, Dj Ouch!. Having both lived in Madrid they share a common interest and knowledge of the Spanish underground music scene and it’s numerous clubs and records shops.

El Barrio is running since various months at Saigon's The Lighthouse and has become a reference for upfront House and Techno in Vietnams capital. Since Ouch! is on visit to Bangkok beginnin of December, we can not miss the chance to have a very first Bangkok edition of El Barrio.

You can expect a mix of old school house and organic deep house that will progressively evolve to faster 4/4 techno beats as the night goes on.

moreno (SAFE ROOM BKK / Alba, DE)
Born and raised in Germany, moreno's DJ career started with a residency at Stuttgart's legendary House and Techno club, M1. The next chapter brought performances across Europe, South America, and the US. In 2001 he settled in Madrid, holding residencies at La Musa and Finisterre.

He moved to Bangkok in 2011 where he currently runs a monthly residency at SAFE ROOM. Previously, he established Berlin Beats at GLOW, the infamous Red Zone parties at Studio Lam and Black Pagoda, as well the Disco underground parties with DiscoRobot, in the very early days of Bangkok nightlife.

OUCH! (HRBR - Heart Beat)
Hailing from Switzerland, Dj Ouch! started to play records in the late 90s. Moving to Madrid in 2000, he discovered deep house and techno and naturally started digging these styles in the numerous records shops of the city.

Travelling back to Switzerland in 2001 he attended SAE in Geneva until 2003 and started producing deep house, D&B and hip hop. He founded the notorious Swiss drum and bass crew 'Insane Drumsounds' with DJs and musicians and started his collaboration with the label Urban Sound, alongside residencies in the renowned Paradox Club and L'Etage.

He moved to Saigon, Vietnam in 2012 where he is now regularly spinning deep underground tunes in venues such as The Observatory, The Lighthouse and Broma and recently joined the Heart Beat and HRBR gang.
