Here, he is teaching workshops and supervising community-led projects on River Heath and Data Sculptures. Scott collaborates with scientists at museums, research institutions and space organizations. His artistic process involves writing software code that translates datasets about our environment into physical objects and sound installations. He will show the process behind creating sculptures with digital fabrication machines such as 3D printers and waterjet cutting machines. He will also demonstrate with Live Coding, the process for building his data sculptures. And he will conclude his presentation with a demonstration of his new artwork, Sonaqua, which is a electronic sound installation based on water quality of the Chao Phraya River.
