Whiteline and VS Service are proud to present a very special edition of Filmmaker's Forum this coming Tuesday. We'll be featuring a short talk by Joel Gershon, the director and producer behind Cirque du Cambodia - a developing film project that tells the remarkable true story of how a magical school located in a Cambodian village develops the abilities of local youths to become amazing circus performers. The film then follows two of its young stars over a five-year journey as they move to Montreal to attend the best circus school in the world, with the dream of becoming the first Cambodians to join the illustrious, world-renowned Cirque du Soleil.
The talk will be followed by an exclusive, not-to-be-missed circus performance by performers from the special school in Cambodia, Phare Ponleu Selpak.
