The artist whose work is inspired from the most adorable way and witty at the same time Fartboil | Perth - Siwakorn Pimsakulanon - “I started doing my artwork from drawing manga in designated frames and the character that I usually picked up to use is the little boy who constantly farts. This brought the idea to my AKA name, Fart, and Boil is a pun word with Boy. The main concept in my work is not that inflexible, it is always changeable to the context and the people. Sometimes I have things in my mind or seen things and would want to adapt into my own character. Either way the viewers always know that is my work.”
Most of his recent works are digital paintings but for this first solo exhibition, he has chosen the acrylic on canvas technique. “Happy Hunting Ground is, undoubtedly, the supposition of this world. It may seem to be plentiful but the actual happy moment has not yet come. There are so many bits and minutes in a moment which is the reason most of my artworks are meant to be flavourful for various aspects of life.”
