TCDC ร่วมกับสถานทูตเนเธอร์แลนด์ และบริษัท Indorama Ventures PCL จัดการเสวนา “Fashion from Waste” โดย Monique Collignon นักออกแบบระดับรางวัลจากเนเธอร์แลนด์
ในการเสวนาครั้งนี้ Monique จะมาแบ่งปันเรื่องราวของ Slow Fashion ที่ถูกหลอมรวมเข้ากับความเอาใจใส่สิ่งแวดล้อม โดยเอกลักษณ์นี้ได้สะท้อนออกมาที่ผลงานออกแบบของเธอ เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมฟังการเสวนาสามารถนำไปใช้ต่อยอดหรือสร้างสรรค์ผลงานของตัวเอง

Monique Collignon
Monique Collignon เป็นเจ้าของรางวัล “Dutch Designer” แห่งปี 2010 Monique เป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้างในเรื่องการออกแบบแฟชั่นชั้นสูง, Ready-to-wear รวมไปถึงชุดพนักงานองค์กรชั้นนำ งานออกแบบของ Monique แทบจะไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมเลย คอลเล็กชั่นเสื้อผ้าของ Monique คำนึงถึงสิ่งแวดล้อม และใช้ผ้า Waste2Wear ที่ทำจากการรีไซเคิลขวดพลาสติก ซึ่งใส่สบาย แต่กลับให้ความรู้สึกหรูหรา Monique ยังได้รับรางวัล “Best Foreign Designer” จากประเทศเยอรมันในปี 2012

TCDC, in corporation with Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands and Indorama Ventures PCL, is organizing the talk “Fashion from Waste” by Monique Collignon, an award-winning Dutch fashion designer.
The session is about slow fashion, her conscious in environment and sustainable fashion design. By her philosophy, she chose environmental friendly material in her design. At the end of the talk, the participants will understand her creative process, get inspired, and be ready to extend the knowledge to their creative work.

About Monique Collignon
The award-winner of the “Dutch Designer” of 2010. For a number of years, Monique Collignon is known for offering the fashion design, from haute couture, pret-a-porter to corporate wear, with a low impact on the environment. Her collection is environmentally conscious and consists of Waste2Wear fabric made from recycled plastic bottles and finished for a comfortable yet luxurious feeling. Monique also received the award “Best Foreign Designer” in Germany in 2012.
