Da Dun Fine Arts Cultural Exchange Exhibition is finally here again after 3 years! The best works are on display in Bangkok, Thailand.
6 – 25 September in RCB Galleria 1 on 2nd floor. The opening ceremony will take place on 6 September at 2 PM.
With the efforts of more than 20 years, in addition to being an art exchange platform where art creators from all over Taiwan gather and discuss, in recent years, the Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition hosted by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government, has gradually gained a reputation in the international art and literature scene, attracting outstanding artists from more than 40 countries around the world to actively participate, and becoming one of the most important, large-scale public art exhibitions in Taiwan.
In order to strengthen the international exchange and promotion of culture and art, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government has collected and exhibited works that have won awards from the Da Dun Art Exhibition every year since 2007. So far, the selections have been exhibited in Japan (Kyoto, Okinawa, Yokohama), United States (Texas, California), Australia (Canberra), Indonesia (Jakarta), New Zealand (Auckland, Whangarei), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), China (Xiamen, Zhejiang), Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) and Canada (Vancouver).
This year, with the assistance from Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Thailand and fellow overseas countrymen, it will be grandly exhibited at the River City Bangkok, Thailand, from September 6th to September 25th.
Due to the impact of the global Covid-19 epidemic, the previous two exchange exhibitions were suspended. Therefore, we have waited three years since 2019 to resume this international exchange again. This time, there are 60 excellent works on display, including ink color, calligraphy, seal cutting, glue color, oil painting, watercolor, printmaking, sculpture, crafts etc. Among which the works that won the Da Dun Award at the Da Dun Art Exhibition in the past three years will be exhibited for the first time, through different media, forms and themes, showing the vigorous development of Taiwanese contemporary art creation.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government hopes that through this exhibition, Taiwan will be marketed internationally, and the artistic achievements of Taichung City will also be introduced. At the same time, art lovers from all over the world are sincerely welcome to actively participate in the Da Dun Art Exhibition and share the achievements and joy of creation.
2022 Taichung City Da Dun Art Exhibition Cultural Exchange Exhibition will be exhibited at Galleria 1, 2/F, River City Bangkok, Thailand from September 6th to September 25th 2022. The opening ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on September 6th at the same venue and guests from all walks of life are welcome to come and participate in the event.
