บ้านใหม่ของ IA49 ในรูปแบบของแวร์เฮ้าส์ออฟฟิศ
งานปรับปรุงโกดังเก่ามาให้เป็นออฟฟิศโดยให้คงเอกลักษณ์ความเป็นแวร์เฮ้าส์ไว้ โดยเน้นงานเหล็ก งานไม้ และงานกระจก เหมือนเป็นแวร์เฮ้าส์เก่าๆ ในมหานครนิวยอร์ก

พื้นที่หลังคาสูง ทำให้ปลอดโปร่งโล่งสบาย การเปลี่ยนจากโกดังเป็นออฟฟิศจึงไม่ได้คำนึงแค่เรื่องความสวยงาม แต่ยังพิจารณาถึงวิธีการทำงาน ไลฟ์สไตล์การทำงาน และการผนวกเรื่อง Functional เข้ากับ Economical เพื่อให้เป็นออฟฟิศที่ Substainable มากที่สุดด้วย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น การเก็บเสาไม้เก่าทุกต้นไว้ จนถึงการออกแบบโต๊ะทำงานโดยใช้เหล็กนั่งร้านมาประกอบขึ้นเป็นโครงโต๊ะที่ตอบสนองการใช้งานในราคาประหยัด และสอดคล้องกับความเป็นแวร์เฮ้าส์ การเปิดรับแสงธรรมชาติแบบ Sidelight ทางจั่วทิศเหนือที่ให้แสงสว่างเพียงพอในเวลากลางวัน โดยไม่นำพาความร้อนมาโดยตรง และการใช้ระบบแอร์ที่ประหยัดไฟ

The renovation of an old warehouse into an office, while maintaining the uniqueness of the old warehouse, emphasizing on woodworks and mirrorworks, just like old warehouses in New York city. High ceiling space gives a fresh and  laid-back feeling. The renovation doesn’t only concern about the aesthetic aspects, but also the functionality of the place. It is the combination between economical concerns and functionality, resulting in sustainable designs through differents elements, for example , keeping every of the old wooden poles, office desks’ design using old steels and the energy-saving use of air-conditioning system. This corresponds to the expected usefulness of the warehouse, which is for cost saving. It’s also open to natural sidelight from the North that gives sufficient brightness while not letting in too much heat.
