►DJ TO-RU
A Japanese DJ/producer from Sendai, founder of Bomclap Records. TO-RU grew up with rock music and encountered Hip Hop at the age of 16. He fell in love with the turntablism culture and started djing in 1999. To-ru then started scratching and has participated in various DJ competitions such as DMC Japan, ITF Japan to contribute to and establish himself in the turntablist scene in Sendai.
Toru’s DJ style is flawless and cross-genre, mixing Hip Hop to Breakbeats, House, Reggae to D’n’B. He just takes on quality music regardless of genre and attracts people with his flexibility, creativity and dynamism worldwide.

►HONEYCOMB
Had a strong interest in experimental sound and obscure electronica since his older brother introduced him to the likes of Squarepusher, Aoki Takamasa, and Alvin Lucier at a young age.
Living in Japan, he was inspired by the viscid bass of dub techno and lo-fi percussion of acid house. Honeycomb started out DJing deep and classic house tracks with some friends in Tokyo.
After moving back to Thailand, he recognized an over saturation of certain genres and stopped playing out. Seeking out unorthodox sounds in Bangkok, he decided to start mixing with a framework of ambient and avant-garde compositions. The resulting style is a mixture of somber neo-classical melodies, fragmented electronic accents, and heavy acid-techno house.
