DEPUTY GOVERNOR FOR INTERNATIONAL MARKETING (EUROPE, AFRICA, MIDDLE EAST AND AMERICAS) , TOURISM AUTHORITY OF THAILAND (TAT)

As Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)’s Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Europe, Africa, Middle East and Americas), Mr. Chattan is responsible for driving the international tourism marketing strategies in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Americas.

He spearheaded several Thai tourism branding and marketing initiatives, positioning Thailand as a preferred tourist destination in boom times and through various adversities. He has an extensive experience as a marketer both in the domestic and overseas travels. He has led TAT offices in several locations, namely Pattaya, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and India, and even worked in TAT’s Sydney office in the 1990s.

Prior to his current role, he was appointed as the Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Asia and South Pacific), Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications and Deputy Governor for Policy and Planning. He is currently engaged in bringing travellers to Thailand’s top tourist destinations as the country reopens to international travel after over a year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
