Unconfined by genre, Slutski’s DJ sets feature a broad spectrum of styles. From the deepest bass and beats of house and techno through to red hot funk and disco via sophisticated indie electronica, his selections are laden with rich musicality. Having DJed for over a decade, he is equally at home laying down energetic rhythms for sweaty dancefloors or creating a relaxed mood and ambience for more loungey settings.

A regular feature in Kuala Lumpur’s burgeoning house and techno scene, Slutski (under the alias ‘Milou’) was recently selected as a resident by Kyo KL. His forward-thinking attitude to DJing has led to him being asked to play support at club nights featuring the freshest names on the international circuit such as Ninetoes, FKJ, Phon.o, Bodhi, Trus’me, Aera, and Jaap Ligthart. Featuring on the DJ line-ups of club nights organised by purveyors of quality dance music in Kuala Lumpur such as Ohrwurm, The Sweatbox@Elysium, Under9, Neighbourhood@Nagaba, Nobody Listens To Techno@Como/Pisco Bar and Jiro, he also runs his own weekly disco and house-centric night called ‘The Hook’.

Often DJing using the classic vinyl format, Slutski continues to indulge his record collecting and crate digging addiction.
