Mekong- ASEAN Environmental Week (MAEW), initiated in 2019 as a forum for local communities, civil society groups, academia and public in Mekong and ASEAN region to work together to reflect their opinions, ideas and demands in the common public space.

It aims to open up public space for discussion about environmental issues and their impact on the livelihood. This year the intertwining issues are highlighted under the current political situation in Thailand and the region as pro-democracy movement is gaining momentum.

coordinated by Project SEVANA South-East Asia and Thai Society of Environmental Journalists with collaboration and support from numbers of organisations and communities in Thailand and South East Asia.
