March 31 marks the end of an era.

Sukhumvit 11 has seen dozens of hotspots come-and-go over the years: Q Bar, Bed Supperclub & many which quietly disappeared.

2017 is different; this year arguably the last remaining iconic, underground ecosysytem in BKK will be flattened and replaced by glittering steel and glass.

Cheap Charlie's, Moghul Room, Stash bar, The Alchemist, Snapper New Zealand, Charley Brown’s, Tapas Cafe, Chez Papé and Suk 11 Hostel - names which daily passed the lips of many a Bangkok-lover will be gone forever.
