LOVE MEETINGS
Love Meetings (Comizi d'amore) is a 1965 feature-length documentary about Italians and sexuality shot by Italian writer, poet, and director Pier Paolo Pasolini, who also acts as the interviewer, appearing in many scenes. Pasolini travels the whole country – beaches, countryside, outside factories and on city streets – talking to all sorts of people, young, old, children, women and men, asking them what it is that we call love. The overarching themes are sexual ignorance, confusion and conservatism.
