This course focuses on the development process and design concepts of BI system. It discusses the principles of BI requirement analysis. The course provides the design concepts of data preparation and integration, data warehouse, metadata modeling, data analytic and visualization. The course illustrates how to apply BI framework and the connection between BI and Big Data platform. Practices with BI software and group learning will be performed throughout this course.
