It’s official: Slum Disco Soundsystem is bigger than Donald J. Trump.

Our launch back in June was a yoooj (huge) success with more attendees than at Trump’s inauguration ceremony. We blew the roof off of the last club, leaving a trail of destruction as we left. And therefore, we’ve been forced to find another venue… Where else would suit the guys behind Slum Disco more than at the mecca of local hipsters: Studio Lam

And because we live in a Trumpian Dystopia otherwise known as Democracy, there will be a slight change in this month’s Slum Disco lineup. 

The aptly named DJ Soi Cowboy will be warming things up for the wrecking-disco-ball-riding disco-slut more commonly known as Tek Harrington.

Tek, a distant cousin of Danny DeVito and Jackie Chan, needs no introduction. Not because of his music or any related achievements, but because he’s a mouthy little bellend who often needs to shut the hell up, especially when it comes to talking about the late 70’s era of disco and Paradise Garage. 

The faux-disco-knob wasn’t even born then.
