Borrowed Identity is widely recognised as a chameleon within the electronic music scene. He can tastefully and strategically mix various forms of house, techno and disco depending on his reaction to the environment and the crowd, expanding his skills towards a more freestyle manner if he feels is appropriate for the occasion.

Likewise, the multi-disciplinary DJ who helms from Berlin, Germany, can provide a truly focussed direction for the crowd and the dance floor, opting for those present to completely let go and have a good time. Instead of limiting himself to one genre to create an easy to promote image as a DJ he attempts with every show to catch the appropriate vibe in each club, going with the motions of the crowd as they motion with him.

Borrowed Identity is wise beyond his years, having played many of the most renowned clubs in Europe such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Concrete, Fabric and shows further afield in the likes of Asia, Australia and Canada. Besides his DJ-ing credentials he has released numerous music on labels such as Lets Play House, Quintessentials, Mistress as well as remixing for Ben Sims, Jacques Renault, Max Graef, Luke Solomon and many more.

French DJ/Producer based in Bangkok, Baptiste caught the electronic music fever when working as an advertising programmer for the renown Parisian DJ station Radio FG in 1998.
He first released a five-tracks 12” “Onset Asynchrony EP” (CB21) under the name Ab Mauer, on parisian hard-techno label Chronobrain (owned by Chris Carrier/ guillaume La Tortue) in 1999.
During 2005, he signed a downtempo track on infamous french label F-Communications for "Megasoft Office 2005" compilation.
After another 5 tracks release on USA Import in 2011, Baptiste decided to launch his own label Lepton Quark Records. The first release, Fundamental Harmonics "Material Matters", was out in july 2012 and received pretty good feedbacks, reaching the top 10 on Whatpeoplay after 3 days.
