During a long musical journey, Dragon has proved himself the pioneer of Bangkok’s drum ‘n’ bass movement and established a strong scene among the growing relentless crowd.
He founded the Homebass Communications crew in 1998 to break new ground for the local left-field music scene. Apart from their monthly session, Hedz, the collective has also hyped up all the Bangkok bass heads with a number of massive nights featuring such heavyweight bass jockeys as John B, L Double, Micky Finn, SS and Warren G and Dred Bass. During these years, Dragon rocked the crowd regionally in Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore, Bali, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur.
The DJ is also behind the wheel of the Kingdom’s longest running electronic music show, Homebass, on 104.5 Fat Radio, putting diverse beats by local talents and international jocks across the airwaves. Fast forward to present day and Dragon is still pushing musical boundaries. A real pioneer in Bangkok’s underground scene.
His latest Club Night Dubway has introduced the fresh sounds of Dubstep music to Thailands bassline junkies. The night has seen top Dubstep DJ’s such as 2000F, Goth Trad, Truth, Youthman and Greg G from 7even recordings, are just a few of the guests that have rinsed out the sounds at DUBWAY. Although it is a dubstep themed night be expected to hear a broad spectrum of the big bad bass heavy riddim's. Everything from Dub Step to Future Garage, Jungle, Bassline House, Glitch and Ragga gets dropped on the one and two's at DUBWAY!
