In this presentation our guest speaker, Lance Weisser will be talking about designing products and services for extreme contexts and personalities. Lance will share his thoughts on how following a (masked) rule will often result in a product that can meet the needs of both early adopters and laggards in your target markets and exceed the expectations of the 80% early and late majority. When executed well, he believes this approach to design can result in viral growth.
Lance is an independent User Experience Designer from the Silicon Valley who has worked with many startups in the San Francisco Bay area and consulted well known companies like Pivotal Labs, Cisco Systems and The Innovators DNA. Lance has a well rounded body of experience that includes design work in industrial augmented reality, games, travel, food, advertising, network security, ed tech and fin tech. He is an avid reader, golfer and coffee connoisseur who loves great food and board games like Settlers of Catan.
