แนวคิดนี้ ถูกพัฒนาโดย Creel Price อดีต Bluprint Maganagement Group ที่เริ่มต้นธุรกิจด้วยเงินทุนเพียง 5,000 เหรียญ เขาใช้แนวคิดนี้ผลักดันธุรกิจให้เติบโตไปเป็นธุรกิจที่มีพนักงานจำนวนหนึ่งพันคน และขายบริษัทไปได้ในราคา 109 ล้านเหรียญในเวลา 10 ปีต่อมา

หลังจากนั้น Creel ก็ถูกเชิญให้ไปเป็นผู้ออกแบบหลักสูตรสำหรับ Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship ในประเทศ South Africa ซึ่ง The Business Model Blueprint ได้กลายเป็นแนวคิดในการเริ่มต้นธุรกิจที่สมบูรณ์แบบในเวลาต่อมา ปัจจุบันแนวคิดนี้เป็นสิทธิบัตรทางปัญญาที่อนุญาติให้ใช้จำกัดเฉพาะที่ Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship และที่ Investible เท่านั้น!
แต่นับเป็นความโชคดีของผู้ประกอบการไทย ที่ HUBBA ได้จับมือกับทาง Investiblel และได้นำเอาหลักสูตรนี้มาเผยแพร่ให้ผู้ประกอบการในเมืองไทย ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นที่ HUBBA เพียงเดือนละครั้ง โดยให้สิทธิ์เพียง 20 คน/ครั้ง เท่านั้น!

The Business Model Blueprint allows founders to develop not only their value proposition (desirability) but delivery proposition (feasibility) and financial proposition (viability), resulting in a business overview from which both a pitch and investor deck can be designed.

Creel Price, a successful entrepreneur who has developed this program after he co-founded Blueprint Management Group with just five thousand dollars in capital, which he grew to 1,000 employees, selling a decade later for $109 million. Creel has also designed curriculum for the Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship and Investible and the Blueprint is allowed using by Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship and Investible only!
